Forward Focus

This morning we had the closing appointment to finalize the sale of our Colorado house! Yay! We've had a big 10 days of delays due to issues with the buyers team and loan. But it's finally done.

Liquidating assets is a big part of preparing for an international move. We allowed 4 months for the sale of our home, in retrospect we'd have sold the house sooner and rented our temporary apartment for longer. The storage of our belongings when they arrive in Perth is $600 a month but that would've been worth it to prevent the stress of the last week when this house sale seemed like it would fall through and we thought we'd have to put the house back on the market with less than 60 days left in Colorado!

But it's done. 

We can now focus forward and enjoy our time left in Denver.
