Home Improvements Continue

We've been in our new home over four months and most of the home improvements we've done til now involved removing ugly/dated things and garden revamping. But today we actually did one of the main projects on my 2023 home improvements list! We built five timber shelves in the kitchen. 3 in this weird nook: 2 above the fridge: They turned out fabulously well! I can't wait to start using them tomorrow once the wood glue and furniture polish/oil has dried.  The wood and hardware cost about $450, and it took us about 8hrs. We also bought a $200 table saw to be used for this project and one other project on my list. Hubby did a great job mastering the table saw. It actually took a couple of hours last weekend just to put the thing together as well!
