Garden Decor

Our Parker home had very boring, basic landscaping when we moved in 7 years ago. We did several things to improve that:

• Planted trees/shrubs
• Added planters
• Created an epic veggie patch

One of my favorites is this vintage bike planter in the front yard:

We simply bought an old bike in a thrift store spray painted it with a basic whitish primer and added plants in the basket and on the seat post. We also planted a clematis to climb all over the bike. 

The veggie patch was a boring side yard strip that we improved. It featured:

• 6 raised beds
• 3 garden arches
• 2 potting benches
• Areas for seating and large pots etc
• Hubby added a dripper/sprinkler line to water all of this too!

We will really miss this garden now we're selling the house and moving back to Australia but we will have a new garden to improve!
