Home Improvements Continue

We've been in our new home over four months and most of the home improvements we've done til now involved removing ugly/dated things and garden revamping. But today we actually did one of the main projects on my 2023 home improvements list! We built five timber shelves in the kitchen.

They turned out fabulously well! I can't wait to start using them tomorrow once the wood glue and furniture polish/oil has dried. 

The wood and hardware cost about $450, and it took us about 8hrs.

We also bought a $200 table saw to be used for this project and one other project on my list.

Hubby did a great job mastering the table saw. It actually took a couple of hours last weekend just to put the thing together as well!
